Can you really do all your Christmas shopping for under $5? Come see and handle a variety of Christmas artifacts from the late 1800s and try guessing their original retail price, then make your own Victorian ornament.

Many cultures have special festivals of light. Join our cultural guests for some special celebrations of light and hope and make a farolito (lantern) in the Mexican home, a Filipino parol star (lantern) in the studio and Chinese lanterns in the Market Bazaar. Don’t miss the special presentation of glow in the dark Poi and hula hoops by Fireweavers.

Santa’s Longest Letter
Saturday, December 1 and Sunday, December 2, 2007

Kids of all ages are invited to help us write the longest letter ever written to Santa and listen to a dramatic reading of the cherished Christmas classic Letters from Father Christmas (English: noon, 2 p.m.; French: 11 a.m., 1 p.m.)
