Join us for a discussion about the Grand Old Man of the Laurentians, the beloved Herman Smith “Jackrabbit” Johannsen, who is one of the great personalities featured in the exhibition Face to Face: The Canadian Personalities Hall. Bring your skis for a tour around the Museum grounds following the discussion.

Valentine’s Day Ball

The Valentine’s Day Ball promises a refined evening of black-tie elegance in the Museum’s spectacular Grand Hall. Guests will enjoy five courses of romantic, floral-inspired cuisine from the Museum’s Executive Chef, Georges Laurier. Between courses, guests will have the opportunity to dance and enjoy an eclectic program of live music, including ballroom, jazz, classical and contemporary pieces performed by accomplished professional musicians. The Valentine’s Day Ball will support programs for children and youth at the Canadian Museum of Civilization and the Canadian War Museum.

Tickets for the Valentine’s Day Ball are $250 (plus applicable taxes), with corporate tables of eight available for $1800 (plus applicable taxes). To reserve, call 819 776-7183. Sponsorship opportunities are also available.
