Last chance to see the exhibition A Caring Profession!

Gatineau, Quebec, July 20, 2006 — Visit the exhibition A Caring Profession: Centuries of Nursing in Canada before it closes on July 30, 2006 at the Canadian Museum of Civilization.

The exhibition’s nine sections explore all aspects of nursing history and practice: Nursing in Canada, In the Hospital, At the Bedside, In the Home, In the Community, On the Frontier, On Campus and On the Picket Line, and On the Battlefield. A final section, The Nurses’ Station, is reserved for interactive presentations with volunteer nurses, and offers books and electronic resource materials.

To date, more than 165,000 visitors have visited this exhibition — the first ever on Canadian nurses and their four-century long history. Do not miss the opportunity to see this inspiring exhibition. A Caring Profession will close on Sunday July 30, 2006.
