Explore the world of toys at the Canadian Children’s Museum

Gatineau, Quebec, March 21, 2007 — On March 31 and April 1, join us in the Canadian Children’s Museum, located in the Canadian Museum of Civilization, and become an amateur toy inventor. Create a mechanical toy using interesting material such as rubber bands, springs and gravity. You will also have the chance to meet innovators from the local company White Box Robotics and their friend, PC BOT, a friendly, smart and interactive robot.

This activity is presented in conjunction with the Children’s Museum’s newest exhibition Top Secret: Mission Toy. This exhibition lets you explore, examine and learn about intriguing toys from around the world. Check out dolls and balls and secret codes, find out why tops are tops, and how string can be a fascinating thing. Presented until September 3, 2007.
