Blood donor clinic at the Museum of Civilization.
Give blood. Give life.

Gatineau, Quebec, April 6, 2009 — Join us at the Canadian Museum of Civilization on Thursday, April 16 for the fifth annual Héma-Québec blood drive. Donors will enjoy free parking and admission to the Museum. The blood clinic will take place in the Grand Hall of the Museum where donors can relax and take in the majestic setting while they give the gift of life.

Héma-Québec is the only organization in Quebec responsible for the management of the province’s blood bank. Every day, hospital centres require blood components — by-products of blood donations — to treat their patients. It is often a matter of life or death. The simple act of giving blood — which takes about an hour — can help save up to four lives.
