An extraordinary evening with Olympic champion Donovan Bailey at the Canadian Museum of History

Missing the Olympics? Revisit one of Canada’s most thrilling Olympic moments with the athlete who lived it, as Olympic champion Donovan Bailey joins award-winning novelist and host of the Museum’s podcast, Kim Thúy, for an exclusive event at the Canadian Museum of History.

Join us on September 11 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. for an unforgettable night of sport, culture and conversation. Listen to Bailey share his insider’s look at the Olympics, along with the story behind his 1996 Gold Medal victory in the 100-metre final. You’ll also hear him reflect upon the 2024 Games, and the evolution of the Canadian sporting landscape.

The evening kicks off with a reception, including a live DJ, cash bar and food available for purchase.
