It’s all about the ukulele!


Gatineau, Quebec, April 22, 2009 — A new generation of musicians and educators is embracing the ukulele. Leading the way is British Columbia’s James Hill, a talented performer and passionate advocate of the limitless potential of this small four-string guitar. Join us at the Canadian Museum of Civilization on May 2 and 3 for concerts and other fun ukulele events with James Hill and cellist Anne Davison. Educators across North America are using the ukulele as a vehicle for music literacy, teaching musical styles from around the world while reinforcing musicianship.
James Hill will share his approach in his workshop Ukulele in the Classroom.
