Red Sky performs Raven Stole the Sun

Gatineau, Quebec, June 12, 2007 — On June 22, don’t miss the award-winning performance of Raven Stole the Sun by the Red Sky theatre group at the Canadian Museum of Civilization. Raven is a fabulous and magical creature of impulse and curiosity. In order to satisfy his overwhelming sense of curiosity, Raven hatches a brilliant scheme for stealing the stars, the moon and the sun and ends up bringing light to the people of the world. The evening will begin with a performance of Sky Woman Falls to the Earth by Turtle Island Players of Aboriginal Experiences.

Red Sky creates and produces original works for adult and family audiences, and explores the artistic landscape where world Indigenous cultures merge. Red Sky seeks to nourish and strengthen the health, creativity and innovation of First Nations, world Indigenous, culturally diverse and mainstream communities.
