Gatineau, Quebec, July 20, 2006 Visit the exhibition A Caring Profession: Centuries of Nursing in Canada before it closes on July 30, 2006 at the Canadian Museum of Civilization.The exhibition’s nine sections explore all aspects of nursing history and practice: Nursing in Canada, In the Hospital, At the Bedside, In the Home, In the Community, On the Frontier, On Campus and On the Picket Line, and On the Battlefield. A final section, The Nurses’ Station, is reserved for interactive presentations with volunteer nurses, and offers books and electronic resource materials.
To date, more than 165,000 visitors have visited this exhibition the first ever on Canadian nurses and their four-century long history. Do not miss the opportunity to see this inspiring exhibition. A Caring Profession will close on Sunday July 30, 2006.
