Four Wool Blankets

These blankets have been included to highlight the warmth and colour that could be found in everyday use in the furnishings for Canadian homes during the 1800s. Three of the blankets were probably woven in the Niagara Region; the one with the lozenge twill weave was possibly the product of a weaver in the Waterloo County region.
