Multiple Shaft Coverlet
Multiple shaft coverlets similar to this example surface periodically in the region of Waterloo County, Ontario. They were probably made by one or more weavers trained in the Germanic communities of Pennsylvania where similar coverlets have also been found. As in this example, they are beautifully woven and display an excellent balance of design and colour.
