Doublecloth Coverlet
This coverlet of rust-red wool is a departure from the traditional practice of using dyed, dark indigo blue wool. Most doublecloth coverlets, including this example, are well suited for use with either side on display because of the manner in which they are woven, which results in a greater definition of the pattern.
