Tall Case Clock

Made for Jacob Lindebury, this clock was passed down through his family until purchased by John and Heather Harbinson in 1977. It is one of three tall case clocks that appear to have been made by the same cabinetmaker, who employed the traditional Chippendale designs found on Pennsylvania clocks during the late 1700s. The case was made to house the works, which were probably imported from England or Scotland during the early 1800s.
