Regency Armchair

This armchair shares features with the set of six Regency sidechairs (CMH 2007.22.213.1-6) and was almost certainly made by Thomas Nisbet. Over the years, many of the finer furnishings from the Maritime provinces, such as this chair and the six sidechairs, have found their way to New England and other parts of the United States. As with several other pieces in the John and Heather Harbinson Collection, they have been repatriated to Canada.
