Technology

The Canadian Museum of History’s virtual school programs are live and interactive. They are available to groups learning either in the classroom or on personal computers. For best results, the presenter should be able to see and hear the students, and/or interact with them via the chat function.

Programs are delivered by a History Museum staff member using Zoom.

How will your students connect with this program?(Required)

Each student has a device (e.g., iPad / Android Tablet / Chromebook / Windows laptop or tablet / Macbook). Multiple students will be connecting to the livecast either from separate locations or from the same class.

A single computer connected to a projector or Smartboard will be used. One webcam will be used and only the teacher will connect to the livecast.
