features pieces of furniture which are unique in the history of Canada. More than 80
objects will be presented: armoires, chests of drawers, armchairs, chairs, etc. A cabinetmaker and a conservator will also be on site showing their techniques and talking with visitors. Although some pieces are owned by private collectors, most of the furniture comes from the Canadian Museum of Civilization's collections. Here are some excerpts from the exhibition. |
