This rare piece of duplicate artwork is by stamp designer Kate Stephens. It features a digitally remastered close-up of a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II painted by Denis Quinton Fildes in 1953. Although beautifully rendered, the design was not adopted, as it was decided that the Golden Jubilee series should feature photography instead of portraiture
