The "Petit Salon", as Mrs. Sharpe called it in contrast with
the living room, or "Grand Salon". She spent most of her time here, reading and researching Quebec traditions. The chest, with its original colours, dates from the early 19th century and is from Saint-Jean-sur-le-Richelieu.
