Description
Diane was born in the beautiful city of Vancouver, British Columbia. Her ancestry includes Kwakwaka’wakw and she is a proud member of the Dzawada’enuxw First Nations (Kingcome Inlet, Alert Bay and Guilford Inlet, BC)
Diane’s interest in art began in 2003. As a self-taught artist, her passion is creating art using a wide range of mediums from painting with acrylic, oils, watercolors and alcohol inks, to creating pottery, beaded & leather jewellery, and metal art. Diane is also an active member in her community of Prince George, BC. She is the President of the Northern Indigenous Arts Council (NIAC), she is on the Board of Directors of the Community Arts Council (CAC) of Prince George and District and Arts BC. Diane aspires to continually learn from those she meets from all walks of life.
