Dating from AD 500–1000, this life-sized wooden mask found in Nunavut was probably worn during ritual activities by a Dorset culture shaman. Dorset peoples were the descendants of Siberians who migrated into the Canadian Arctic and Greenland more than 4,500 years ago.
