This mallet was used by Ada Sylvester, who worked at the Canadian Car and Foundry in Thunder Bay, Ontario, during the Second World War. The large manufacturer played a part in Canada’s massive industrial war effort. A total of 4,500 men and women built more than 2,000 warplanes.
