Each snowshoe club had a distinctive uniform. This one, dating from 1903–1959, is from the Ottawa Snowshoe Club. It includes a tuque with a tassel, and a cloth jacket with epaulettes and a badge on the sleeve bearing the motto “Tiens ferme” (Stand firm).
